- NOTE: If you are a beginner it will take you around 15 - 20 minutes. Once you get the hand of the steps it will take you about 10 minutes to complete.
Step 1: Open GIMP and your picture. I'll be using a picture of Holland Roden. You can find it here. You can edit it anyway you want now, I personally will not edit my image.
Step 2: After you are done editing your image, select the Path Tool. It will look like this, here.
Step 3: Once you have selected it on you your Tool Options and make sure you select design. (Tool Option looks like this, here.)

Step 4: Go to your image and start clicking around the person like what I have on the side.
Step 5: Once you are done outlining the person in the image, go to your color palette and chose the colour you like.
Step 6: Go to Edit > Stroke Path. Select Stroke Line, make the line width how thin or thick you want. (The window will look like this, here.)
Step 7: Once you like how it looks, unselect the Path Tool.
Step 8: Save and show your friends!

Step 7: Once you like how it looks, unselect the Path Tool.
